How To Measure – Shirts:
To find your perfect fit, grab a shirt you already love and follow these steps. This will help you understand how McTavish women's shirts will fit on you.
All you need is a Tape Measure, a flat surface and your favourite shirt (to measure against). Tip: All measurements are in centimetres (CM) and taken with the garment lying flat.
Across Shoulder
Measure straight across from the outer edge of one shoulder seam to the outer edge of the other shoulder seam.
Across Chest
Lay the shirt flat and measure straight across the chest from one underarm seam to the other.
Hem Width
Lay the shirt flat and measure straight across the bottom hem from edge to edge.
Body Length (front)
Measure from the highest point on the shoulder (HPS) straight down the front to the bottom hem.
Sleeve Length
Measure from the top shoulder seam (where it meets the sleeve) to the end of the sleeve hem.
