We’re searching for a Permanent Part-Time Retail Sales Assistant with the creativity and energy to help build a surf community hub alongside our Retail Manager. You’re naturally at home with people, quality products, and surf history — and you value an elevated in-store experience that builds trust and loyalty.

Responsibilities
Customer Experience
- Welcome every customer with genuine hospitality — less “sales,” more “host”
- Share product knowledge with confidence and authenticity
- Create a relaxed, inspiring store atmosphere through music, conversation, events and storytelling
- Support store events (in-store and off-site): setup, pack-down, staffing
Product & Merchandising
- Know our full range of surfboards and gear — and be excited to talk about it
- Merchandise the store to keep it fresh, clean, and aligned with the brand
- Share product and heritage stories with customers
- Use the gear when possible so you can speak from experience
- Assist with curating 3rd-party products (local and surf-lifestyle brands)
Stock & Systems
- Help manage in-store stock levels, restocking and organising as needed
- Support surfboard inventory uploads; ensure accuracy in Cin7
- Coordinate with the factory and team to ensure custom orders are built to spec and on time
