How To Measure – Knit Vests:
To find your perfect fit, grab a vest you already love and follow these steps. This will help you understand how McTavish knit vests will fit on you.
All you need is a Tape Measure, a flat surface and your favourite vest (to measure against). Tip: All measurements are in centimetres (CM) and taken with the garment lying flat.
Across Shoulder
Measure straight across from the outer edge of one shoulder seam to the outer edge of the other shoulder seam.
Across Chest (underarm)
Lay the vest flat and measure straight across the chest from one underarm seam to the other.
Hem Width
Measure straight across the bottom hem from edge to edge.
Body Length (front)
Measure from the highest point on the shoulder (HPS) next to the neckline down to the bottom hem.
Armhole Curve
Follow the curve from the shoulder seam around to the bottom of the armhole along the seam.
Real Wool Warmth
We love wool for its natural warmth without the bulk. Wool has a natural spring that holds its shape, without the use of any plastics. Just 100% natural Wool Warmth.
