How To Measure – Hoodies:
To find your perfect fit, grab a knit hoodie you already love and follow these steps. This will help you understand how McTavish hoodies will fit on you.
All you need is a Tape Measure, a flat surface and your favourite hoodie (to measure against). Tip: All measurements are in centimetres (CM) and are taken with the garment lying flat. For knits, don't stretch the rib hem or cuffs while measuring.
Body Length
Measure from the highest point on the shoulder (next to the collar/hood seam) straight down the front to the bottom hem.
Across Shoulder
Measure straight across from the outer edge of one shoulder seam to the outer edge of the other shoulder seam.
Across Chest
Lay the hoodie flat and measure straight across the chest from one underarm seam to the other.
Hem Width
Lay the hoodie flat and measure straight across the bottom rib hem from edge to edge (don't stretch the rib).
Sleeve Length
Measure from the top shoulder seam (where it meets the sleeve) down to the end of the cuff.
