How To Measure – Shirts:
To find your perfect fit, grab a button-up shirt you already love and follow these simple steps. This will help you understand how McTavish shirts will fit on you.
All you need is a Tape Measure, a flat surface and your favourite shirt (to measure against).
Tip: All our measurements are in centimetres (CM) and are taken with the garment lying flat.
Across Shoulder
Measure from one shoulder seam straight across to the other shoulder seam at the top of the shirt.
Across Chest
Lay the shirt flat and measure straight across the front from one underarm seam to the other.
Hem Width
Measure across the bottom hem of the shirt from one side to the other.
Body Length
Measure from the highest point on the shoulder (next to the collar) straight down to the bottom hem.
Sleeve Length
Measure from the top shoulder seam (where it meets the sleeve) to the end of the sleeve hem (cuff).
