How To Measure – Boardshorts:
To find your perfect fit, grab a pair of boardshorts you already love and follow these steps. This will help you understand how McTavish boardshorts will fit on you.
All you need is a Tape Measure, a flat surface and your favourite boardshorts (to measure against).
Tip: All our measurements are in centimetres (CM) and are taken with the garment lying flat.
Waist (relaxed)
Lay the boardshorts flat and fasten the fly/tie. Pull the front waistband so it's flush with the back waistband. Measure straight across the top edge from one side to the other.
Leg Opening
Lay one hem flat and measure straight across the bottom of the leg.
Outside Leg
Measure from the very top of the waistband straight down the outer edge to the bottom of the hem.
Front Rise
Lay the boardshorts flat and align the crotch seam. Measure from the crotch point straight up the front to the top of the waistband. Keep the waistband relaxed (don't stretch the elastic or tighten the drawcord).
