AUSTRALIA DELIVERIES

We offer FREE DELIVERY* with all orders over the value of $80.

For orders under $80 we charge a FLAT RATE FEE* of $9.95.

(*Excludes Surfboards, Surfboard Bags and Bulk Items)

Orders received before 10am AEST will be shipped the same business day.  All orders received after this time will be shipped next business day. Orders received on weekends will be sent the following Monday. Depending on the state you live in, deliveries usually take between 3-5 business days. In remote areas expect slightly longer delivery times.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES

International shipping costs are influenced by the size and weight of the product and your location. Exact shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart and will be added to the order total before checkout.

For International deliveries we use Australia Post - Registered or Pack & Track International Service.

All duty & taxes charged by the destination country are at the customers expense. International orders can be tracked through the destination country postal service website using the tracking number provided.

SPECIAL NOTE

The delivery times provided by us are estimates only. We will not be held accountable for late deliveries or loss or damage relating to late deliveries. In the event that multiple items are ordered, part deliveries may be made where stock is not available. All reasonable attempts to notify you will be made using the details you provided. Please ensure you enter the correct delivery address. We cannot be held responsible for incorrectly entered delivery addresses. 

Please be aware that postal services can and will be slower during holiday seasons.

 

Shipping Surfboards

PACKAGING 

When shipping both within Australia and Internationally, we want to ensure that your board arrives in mint condition. We take great care in packaging your board using the following steps. 

  1. We wrap each surfboard in heavy-duty double-sided bubble wrap.
  2. We then affix heavy-duty cardboard rail protectors the length of your surfboard, taping everything together firm.
  3. Once the surfboard is wrapped and ready we slide it carefully into a double-walled cardboard box for final shipping.

 

DELIVERY PROCESS

On the rare occasion your surfboard packaging has been compromised during shipping we have taken steps to fully insured your board for any costs associated with any direct damage to the surfboard.

You must follow these steps to continue this protection and help us claim any damage.

  1. Before you sign your delivery docket/consignment note, ask your driver to stay with you while you unpack your newly delivered surfboard. If he is unwilling to wait while you check your surfboard for potential damage then mark the delivery docket/consignment note “BOX DAMAGED” before your signature and the drive can leave.
  2. If the driver agrees to stay, unpack your board carefully and inspect your new surfboard. If it has been damaged or marked in any way, then please mark the consignment note as "DAMAGED" before providing your signature. If your new surfboard is unmarked, which is usually the case, then feel free to sign the drivers consignment note.
  3. If your surfboard has been DAMAGED, then please document the damage with good quality photos and contact us immediately to register the damage with our customer service team. Please email stoked@mctavish.com.au

 

SPECIAL NOTE

By signing the consignment note without any written mention of damage, you are acknowledging the surfboard was delivered in good order.

INTERNATIONAL RATES

We charge a $250 FLAT-RATE  International shipping charge to ship from Byron Bay (Freight On Board) to your nearest customs clearing airport.

Please note that this charge covers freight only, and does not include any local import duties, taxes, or clearance fees.
