Who we are after
A highly-skilled administrator who has expertise in bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, banking and general administration tasks.
Whilst being part of the highly creative and energetic team at our HQ in Byron Bay, you will be part of the glue that keeps the business humming. Working with our team, suppliers, trade customers, and external accountants to keep our books in the right shape.

- Experience with Xero accounting and Cin7 inventory systems preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience in finance, bookkeeping and AP/AR roles
What you’ll be responsible for
Bookkeeping, statutory and month-end
- Manage the bank and credit card reconciliation processes, including resolving discrepancies
- Ensure good linkage, integration and sales reconciliation between Xero, Shopify and Cin7
- Maintain a strong focus on chart of accounts, accuracy in coding and filing in line with requirements
- Prepare and lodge monthly BAS
- Prepare and lodge monthly and annual payroll tax returns
- Co-ordinate staff and ambassador store credits/ GVs
- Review and deposit in-store cash takings
- Month-end accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and other adjusting entries
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reporting
- Other administrative tasks as requested by the General Manager
Accounts Receivable
- Follow up trade customers to ensure prompt payments and minimise bad debts
- Provide regular reports to Customer Service and General Manager on outstanding AR, including ahead of all indent stock release
- Review and file credit applications for new customers
- Liaise with the external sales reps and Customer Service to manage customer relationships
Accounts Payable
- Process supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure invoices are approved in line with company requirements
- Prepare and process the weekly payments run
- Prepare periodic apparel supplier payments for GM processing
- Calculate and process monthly sales rep commissions and McTavish royalties
- Calculate and process loan interest payments
- Manage payments in line with the operational cashflow
- Prepare supplier credit application forms as needed
Payroll
- Keep employee details in the payroll system up to date and accurately set up new employees
- Prepare and process weekly pay run
- Prepare and process superannuation payments
