We've finally got the updated SUP's in stock this week. There are 2 new colours, and the EVA deck pad has been updated with a tail kick and an arch bar. The grip itself is also more aggressive so traction has been improved. The handle balance is perfect, and we've also revised a few logos. The sizing remains the same at 9'0", 9'6" and 10'0", but pricing has also improved and now the RRP's are $1350 for the 9'0" and 9'6", and $1450 for the 10'0". These are in limited supply at the moment but we do have them all in stock right now. Supply will improve towards the end of August.

9'0" in Blue - Still the highest performance SUP in our line-up

9'6" in yellow - a great all-round wave rider

The 10'0" - a great performance wave-rider for bigger guys, or a great flat-water paddler for anyone
Alan Atkins is one mighty fine surfer. He’s been a stand-out longboarder for years, winning numerous National and State Titles and generally impressing us all with his quiet surfing achievements.
These days, as part of his daily surf routine, you’ll find Al hunting waves each morning with his lightweight custom epoxy SUP, that I shaped here in Byron. The current version we’ve nutted out is 9'0" x 28 3/4" x 4” thick rounded-pin, with a flat deck, beveled front and mid bottom shape, fading into a soft double-concave vee tail. But the standout feature is the chamfered rail. In order to get that thick 4" rail to flow sweetly through all sorts of powerful turns, I shaped a regular surfboard rail in the back half, achievable only by dropping a concave chamfer from the deck onto the lower rail. The result? Look for yourself. A sunny morning at Wategos shows how friendly a thick SUP can behave with a decent rail shape to give it the true surf “feel”.
