Join us at Deus 2nd of March for the Deus Surf Swap Meet! Bob will be there signing books, DVD's posters etc and we'll have some great vintage boards on display, as well as a select number of special hand-shaped boards for sale. Hope to see you there.

Matt Chojnacki is parting with this beautiful '66 Valiant Safari to make way for a new project, so if you're keen on picking up one of Australia's neatest wagons check out more photos and details here, or call him direct on 0404 902 089.

Matty Chojnacki dropped by on Wednesday with this sweet looking Cord of Steve Montells' - very similar to Bobs own Batman board. A mystery as to who shaped it but we're thinking Bob or Kevin Platt. Its due for a little resto so once that heavy weight gel coat is gone it should reveal a signature. These are some of the best 'old mals' you can ride, the hippy template, low rocker and comparatively low rails (for the era) combine into a great trimming, noseriding and stall turning beast. This one is a little hefty at almost 15KG, which seems extra heavy, probably due to the salmon pink/egg shell blue gel coat treatment. A beautiful collectable from a great moment in time.

Some images from last weekends Byron Bay Surf Festival. The event was a great success with over 700 people attending the opening, and scores of people enjoying the freestyle and stoke surf session. All photos by Ben Harper.
